Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Creator Ratings (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit creator-ratings.com (the “Site”), and how it's used. The Site is run by Daksh Pandya, New Jersey, United States.

The short version

• There are no accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email to use the Site.
• Your tier lists and settings are saved in your own browser, not on our server.
• Our web server keeps normal technical logs, like every website.
• We show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads.

Information we collect

Server logs. When you load a page, our hosting provider (DigitalOcean) and our web server automatically record technical details: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that linked to it, and the date and time. We use these logs to keep the Site running, fix errors and stop abuse. They are deleted on a regular schedule and are not sold.

Things saved in your browser. The Site uses your browser's local storage to remember things like your tier list, which loadout tab you picked, and similar settings. This information stays on your device. We can't see it, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix what you reported, and we don't add you to any mailing list.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies (and similar technologies) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and other sites on the internet.

• You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's Ad Settings.
• You can opt out of many third-party vendors' personalised ads at aboutads.info/choices.
• Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you'll be asked for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time.

Other services the Site uses

• Google Fonts provides the Site's fonts. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address.
• YouTube. Video thumbnails load from YouTube's image server. A video only plays (from youtube-nocookie.com) after you press play. YouTube's own privacy policy applies to it.
• Links to other sites, such as a creator's channel, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Children

The Site is for a general audience and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU/UK), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to some uses. Because we don't keep accounts, the only personal information we usually hold is server logs and any emails you've sent us. To make a request, email us. We don't sell personal information.

Security and storage

The Site is hosted on servers in the United States. We use reasonable measures to protect it, but no website can be completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Big changes will be noted on the Site.
